- The GDRC is a Community Based Corrections Program that seeks to provide a means by which victim, offender and community address the problem of crime.
- The GDRC's programming is more intense than regular probation supervision.
- The GDRC provides services to clients for a minimum of 12 weeks and a maximum of 1 year.
- You may be required to report to the GDRC once a week or up to 5 times a week depending on your plan of treatment.
- Consumption of alcohol and/or any controlled substances (drugs) is not permitted. You will be subjected to random urine screenings and Portable Breath Tests for alcohol.
- You are not permitted to bring weapons, pagers, cell phones, Walkman, purses, packages, briefcases or backpacks to the GDRC
- You will not be permitted to wear any clothing, jewelry or other fashion accessories which are racially offensive, obscene, depict nudity, promotes or advocate gangs, violence, guns or other illegal activities or represent items associated with drugs, drug use, alcohol, alcohol use or the paraphernalia associated with drug and/or alcohol use.
- Appropriate clothing, including undergarments, is required at all times. You are expected to maintain your appearance in a clean and appropriate matter. No provocative clothing may be worn in the GDRC. Clothing needs to be reasonably clean and without tears or holes. You will not be allowed to attend programming if you are wearing inappropriate clothing. Non-admittance to programming due to inappropriate clothing will be counted as an unexcused absence.
- You will not be allowed to wear any type of hat or other head covering, shorts, short skirts or dresses, halter tops or midriff tops, muscle shirts, tank tops, mesh shirts, sweatpants and tight fitting or revealing clothing.
- As part of the GDRC program, you will be required to perform either 8 hours or 28 hours of community service per week depending on your employment status. If unemployed, you will be required to work 28 hours per week. If employed, you will be required to work 8 hours per week.
- You will be expected to be on time for each class; if missed, you will be required to call prior to the meeting. You will also be required to bring in an excuse from a doctor or other professional explaining why you missed.
- You may be discharged from the program if you commit a new criminal offense, stealing property from the GDRC or community service site, threatening/abusive language, assaultive behavior or threatening with and/or use of weapons or objects that may be used as weapons, failure to notify the GDRC of new arrests or charges within 2 working day, refusing to submit to a portable breath test or urine test, interference with the operation of the van, any positive urine screen or positive portable breath test after the initial test and repeated minor violations.
- You will be required to sign a consent for disclosure of information.
- You will be required to pay a Daily Participation Fee to the GDRC on each day you attend programming and will be required to pay for drug testing.
- You can be released early from the program if you are current with your fees, have a good attendance record, have participated well in programming, have not had any positive drug tests, have had a cooperative attitude, have performed community service as scheduled and if you have not had any violations of the rules and regulations of the GDRC.
