The Greenbrier County 9-1-1 Center was established by the Greenbrier County Commission in 1998.

The staff of the Greenbrier County 911 Center proudly serve the citizens of Greenbrier County 24 hours a day, 365 days per year. The staff members are highly trained professionals with 112 hours of classroom training. Each staff member must do 12 hours of continuing education per year.

This office handles dispatch for 15 fire departments, 7 emergency medical service agencies, and 9 police agencies. Our goal is to provide courteous, efficient service to all callers at all times. More than 20,000 emergency calls per year are handled by our staff and the volume of calls has been increasing every year.
